Samantha Peace was elected to be the non-academic staff representative on Council, effective 1 January 2024 for a two-year term.
Samantha is a proud Aboriginal woman who has had the privilege to grow, learn and live on Yuin lands. She is currently the Knowledge Management Coordinator in the Student Administration and Services Division, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the AskUOW knowledge base. Samantha’s work focuses on fostering a culture of knowledge sharing, utilising knowledge for operational excellence and enhancing the student experience.
Over the past seven years, Samantha has held a range of roles across multiple divisions of UOW, providing her with broad exposure to the working environments of professional staff.
Samantha has previously held roles on the National and NSW Youth Advisory Boards of the Red Cross. She also holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Dean's Scholar) with focus areas in economics and social policy.
