Professor Simon Moss is the Dean of Graduate Research at the University of Wollongong. He is a registered psychologist and management consultant, interested in organizational psychology. He has published approximately 10 books and over 100 scientific papers, primarily on how the policies and practices of organisations and governments affect the wellbeing, progress, and innovation of individuals. For example, he is the author of “The negative side of positive thinking”, “Where should I work”, and “Emotional Intelligence: Journey to the Source”.

Since 1998, Simon has worked extensively in management consulting, especially in the fields of leadership integrity, productivity, and conflict resolution. For example, he was a co-founder of Zenith Professional Development, a company that collated every scientific discovery that contradicts prevailing management beliefs and practices—and utilised these insights to optimise workplace practices. Later, he applied these consulting services to the major banks, mining companies, construction companies, defence, emergency services, hospitals, and government departments.
