Aligned budget and resource allocation

An annual program of six-weekly meetings for each faculty defines and sets the parameters for the annual faculty budget with reference to University and aligned faculty planning priorities and to the resources identified for implementation.

Standards for policy and course development

The University sets standards for policy and course development and their implementation through the Standard on UOW Policy and the Conferrals and Issuance Policy respectively.  The Conferrals and Issuance Policy sets out a policy development and review process, which is primarily overseen by the Educational Policy and Review Sub-Committee of the University Education Committee (for academic policies), the University Research Committee (for research policies) and the Administrative Committee of Council (for non-academic or administrative policies).  The Conferrals and Issuance Policy is administered by the Course Management Committee reporting to the Academic Senate.
