You should also be aware that an Early Admission offer is conditional on successful completion of your HSC (or equivalent), so continue to study hard and do your best in your final assessments.

Please take the time to familiarise yourself with our list ofimportant dates for UOW Early Admission and other HSC related dates.

If you have already applied for Early Admission to UOW in 2024, you can simply log back into the application portal using the credentials you chose in your original application; all of the information you entered will already be in the system – all you will need to do is change the courses that you want to be considered for – only courses offered at UOW Liverpool will be able to be selected.

If you have *not* yet applied, you will be asked to provide your NESA number (issued through your school) and UAC PIN*. Supplying this information allows your Early Admission application to be pre-populated with details such as your Year 11 results, simplifying the application process.

You will be asked to answer four questions. These questions relate to the UOW Indicators of Success. You will need to answer all four questions, more information on the questions is here for you

*Your UAC PIN is the first four digits of your birthday. If your birthday is 30th of August (30/08); then your PIN will be '3008'.

You will only be able to apply for (and therefore be offered) courses offered at UOW’s Liverpool Campus. These courses are listed above on this website, and at the UOW Liverpool website

Yes.

In this case, don’t start a new application – simply log back into the system using the login credentials you used in your original application. You will not need to make any changes except to the courses you wish to be considered for.

If your original Early Admission application was successful and you were made an offer – this new application will *not* affect that outcome. Early Admission to UOW Liverpool is separate and as well as your original application, so applying will add to your options!

If you change your course preferences to be considered for the B. Primary Education, you will need to complete an extra four questions related to Teaching. More information on these questions is here for you

UOW takes a holistic view of each individual applicant and considers a range of factors including your year 11 subject performance, and any circumstances or challenges that may have impacted performance in Year 11

You will also be asked to respond to the below four questions to demonstrate your readiness to study and succeed at UOW:

  • Academic Readiness: What are your study strategies when preparing for an important assessment task?
  • Motivation and Passion: What has influenced your decision to pursue your course or courses of interest?
  • Communication and Collaboration: Describe a time when you worked with others to achieve a goal.
  • Planning and Persistence: Tell us about a time when you set yourself a goal and worked really hard to achieve a good result?

For more information on the four questions, and help preparing your application, check out our 7 Tips to Complete Your Application

Yes, you must respond to each of the four Indicator of Success questions.

Each question provides an opportunity for you to demonstrate your academic readiness, motivation & passion; communication & collaboration; and planning & persistence.

The application system won't allow you to submit an application without attempting each question. Each response must be a minimum of 100, and a maximum of 500 characters.

*You can answer the question using dot-points if that's easier for you. If you do just use an asterisk to separate your points like at the beginning of this paragraph.

Remember that if you are applying for the Bachelor of Primary Education you will need to answer four extra questions related to teaching. You will be prompted to answer these questions after you submit your Early Admission application – so give yourself time to complete these questions before applications close. More information is here for you

This may happen if your response is too long or too short. Each response must include at least 100 characters (including spaces) and a maximum of 500 characters (including spaces). Anything under 100 characters won't be allowed, and the system will 'cut you off' after your 500th character. The boxes in which you'll enter each response have the number '500' next to it; it will count down as you start typing.

Sometimes copying/pasting from Word brings over extra formatting that takes up room in the application system. It is definitely a good idea to draft your responses in Word, but you should type them into your application to avoid any issues with formatting, and character counts.

*You can answer the question using dot-points if that's easier for you. If you do; just use an asterisk to separate your points like at the beginning of this paragraph.

Remember, applications close on Friday, 1 November at 5pm. UOW Will not accept applications or submissions of any content after that time.

No. Early Admission applicants are not required to attend an interview.

UOW assessors will use your Year 11 subject performance and your answers to four questions addressing Academic Readiness, Motivation and Passion, Communication and Collaboration, and Planning and Persistence to determine your eligibility for an offer.

If you apply for Early Admission to UOW Liverpool prior to the closing date of Friday, 1 November 2024, you do not need toapply for the same course again during the main round UAC process.

UOW's Early Admission program is supported by UAC, so successful Early Admission applicants will receive their offer via UAC on Thursday 14 November 2024.

You can only apply for (and therefore be offered) courses offered at UOW’s Liverpool Campus. These courses are listed above on this website, and at the UOW Liverpool website

If you can't find your preferred course in the Early Admission system, it may be because you're searching for a major or specialisation within that degree. Selecting your major or specialisation typically happens during enrolment or even later in your studies.

For instance, the UOW Bachelor of Business at Liverpool program offers six majors, but when applying, you should just select the Bachelor of Business. If you receive an offer for the degree, you will choose your major when you enrol.

Yes.

You can log in as often as you like and change any part of your application until 5pm on Friday 1 November.

You will be prompted to answer these questions after you submit your Early Admission application – so give yourself time to complete these questions before applications close. More information is here for you.
