Congratulations on your offer! A place is reserved for you in the UOW course(s) you’ve been offered. There’s no need for you to formally accept the offer.

You can enrol in your course starting Monday, 2 December 2024.

UOW will send you an email with your UOW student number, so be sure to keep that information safe. We’ll stay in touch as your enrolment day approaches.

Congratulations!

This means that you have been successful in gaining a spot in both of your course preferences.

You can only enrol in one course, so you will need to decide which course you want to study when it’s time to enrol.

Enrolment opens on Monday, 2 December 2024. We’ll stay in touch as your enrolment day approaches.

No.

While a place has been reserved for you in both courses that you have been offered, you can only enrol in one.

Enrolment opens on Monday 2 December, so you have until then to make your decision. We're more than happy to talk you through your options. Feel free to contact us using the details below.

If you do not meet the Early Admission criteria for your original course preference or, in cases where UOW discontinues a course, we may issue an ‘alternative’ offer.

Alternative offers give you the opportunity to remain in your chosen study area and may provide you with a direct pathway to your original course preference. Alternative offers are made after careful consideration of your application and aligning you with a study program we know you can excel at.

Some alternative offer courses are delivered by UOW while some are delivered by UOW College (UOWC). Read more about UOWC alternative offers below.

Some alternative Early Admission offer courses are delivered by UOW College (UOWC).

UOWC alternative offers are known as packaged offers. Packaged offers are an offer to two courses, where successful completion of the first course in the package allows you to progress to the second course. In most cases, an alternative offer to UOWC will be packaged with your original course preference – you study the first part with UOWC, the second with UOW.

Starting your studies with UOWC will ensure you have the academic and personal support you need to succeed. You will benefit from the small class sizes which means that you will benefit from individual attention, available staff, and a personal approach. Academic skills development is embedded in UOWC programs, with an emphasis on oral, written and presentation skills, and group work.

Just like an undergraduate degree, your subjects will have a lecture and tutorial format, or lecture and laboratory format, timetabled over five days; your assessment will be practical tasks, essays, mid-session tests and final exams.

Students who successfully complete their UOWC course/program will be guaranteed (subject to meeting UOW entry requirements) entry into the first or second year of the UOW course identified in the packaged offer.

At the portal, there is a 'Forgotten Password' prompt, and a 'Forgotten username' prompt. Use these links to reset your credentials.

If this does not help, you will need to contact UAC for support. You will need to verify your identity, so have your student number, UAC PIN and other details with you.

If you applied for an education degree and did not fill out the education-specific questionnaire, you will not be eligible to receive an offer through Early Admission.

You can however apply for an education degree through UAC and you will be assessed using your ATAR and the education-based questionnaire. We suggest that you lodge a UAC application for this course.

No, each Early Admission offer you receive is confirmed and remains valid. None of your offers will cancel each other out. When UOW enrolment opens on Monday, 2 December, you’ll see all your offers listed and can select which one you’d like to enrol in.

Deferring a course means that you accept the offer of a place, but that you don't plan on starting straight away.

Yes, you can defer your place at UOW for up to one year.

You will need a UOW student number before you can apply to defer. This will be sent to you in the weeks after your Early Admission offer. More details on how to defer your offer are available on the UOW Get Started page.

You cannot defer scholarship or accommodation offers. If you are planning to take a year off before commencing study with UOW, you will need to apply for scholarships and accommodation in the year before you commence study i.e. if you defer your offer until 2026, you will apply for scholarships and accommodation in the latter half of next year.

No.

If you intend on enrolling in the course to which you have been made an offer to via Early Admission – you do not need to participate in a UAC application.

A place is reserved for you in the UOW course(s) you’ve been offered. There’s no need for you to formally accept the offer. You can enrol in your course starting Monday, 2 December 2024.
