Clinical training

Student placements and clinical internships

MIND the GaP is a training facility for students studying a range of Allied Health and medical disciplines. We provide a physical space where Allied Health, Nursing and Medical students can complete clinical internships and/or projects. Part of their professional work experience is being trained in the interdisciplinary holistic care of clients with mental health needs.

MIND the GaP currently offers Clinical Placement options for post-graduate psychology students.

MIND the GaP will also consider case-by-case requests to host approved project-based placement opportunities across the health disciplines described above.

Future Clinical Placements across health disciplines will include Exercise Physiology, Medicine (GPs), Nursing, Nutrition and Dietetics, and Social Work. Further information on clinical placement options will be updated as placement services become available for clinical interns.
