The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander members will support the cultural resurgence across our university footprint and provide a cultural reference point for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander affairs at UOW.
The reference group members are valued and respected members of the Community whose role is to show leadership and make decisions that will inspire, empower and support future generations of educated, gifted and culturally grounded leaders.

- Up to eight (8) external community members including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledge holders, cultural custodians and community leaders. Where practicable, the regions and geographical areas across the University footprint within Australia will be represented (including various UOW campuses)
- Up to three (3) Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student body representatives from across our campus locations. Student representation from all campuses, where possible
- Membership will be sought from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members through an Expression of Interest (EOI) process. From time to time, CERG may undertake targeted recruitment and recommend individuals to submit an expression of interest for membership.
