Information is provided in the University’s Working with Hazardous Chemicals and Dangerous Goods Guidelines for labelling of different types of hazardous chemicals. Labels can be obtained from ChemAlert. Non-hazardous substances also require labelling for identification purposes.

Individual GHS pictograms can be downloaded in gif, eps, or tif formats from the UNECE website. Rolls or pages of pre-printed pictogram labels may be purchased from suppliers such as Seton, Brady or Westlab.
