“When I land in a space with likeminded, connected and spirited people it always makes the work so much more valuable. Gathering on country, getting back to basics and taking on vulnerability is always the key to the journey into self in mind, body & spirit.
The energy, cohesion and empathy of the Woolyungah mob was pretty inspiring for me to be with. The caring and connection for each other was evident from the outset, the space was injected with power that came deep and swift. It came from a place of openness from each brother and sister churning through what they needed to. My experience of each healing session is always so different and unique in its own right, this space was just what it needed to be for that time. Leadership is also a place to generate the allowance in accountability to yourself, others and the greater good of the purpose.
From the get go, last week’s workshop was about more than me taking people through the process of connection, it was more about the legacies that the old people have left us. Although we may seemed burdened with responsibility at times we must always remember we are not alone in the struggle, the wrestle of two world living or navigating the after effects of 230 years of inconsistencies. We must embrace being present in the knowing that we are a part of the oldest living civilisation on earth. There is no better way to put it then the words of my grandfather, to give the core pillar context of my passage here.”
