Batemans Bay Bhundoo Summer School is a 2-day on-campus experience for students in years 9 and 10 from local high schools in the Eurobodalla region. Students will participate in fun, hands-on workshops covering a number of cultural and academic themes and topics.
The workshops will be run by presenters with specialist training and UOW volunteer mentors. Prior to the event, students will select through an application form which workshops they want to attend.
Workshops available:
- Day 1: Writing and Poetry, Weaving, Photography, Painting or Dance
- Day 2: Environment, Identity, Health or Education

Location: University of Wollongong Batemans Bay campus
Date: Tuesday 2nd & Wednesday 3rd November 2021
Time: 9:30am – 1:30pm
- No cost for students to participate
- Goodie bags will be provided including a hoodie jumper!
- Morning tea and lunch will be provided
- Free transport available to and from school
- Social distancing and hygiene standards will be adhered to at all times.
