Woolyungah Indigenous Centre have created a new informal learning space, the ‘Chill Room’. As the name suggests, the Chill Room is a area for students to have some down-time in between classes, have something to eat or just catch-up with peers. The door to the Chill Room is always open, and is a safe space for all of our students to enjoy. The room can be found between our Consult Room and Interview Room here at WIC.
The Chill Room has plenty of comfortable seating including two new sofas, four new floor cushions, arm chairs and a huge dining table. The room boasts an aesthetically pleasing colour pallet, a soft floor rug, house-plants and ambient lighting as well as two huge pin boards, one with the map of Indigenous Australia and the other filled with Polaroid photos containing the faces-of-WIC, which students will contribute to over the years.
