The 3rd UOW Indigenous Student Success Awards Night held at Villa D’oro on Friday 3 December 2021 was a great success. The event was all about FUN, SUCCESS and CELEBRATION. The event featured the presentation of 27 Awards in a range of categories acknowledging student’s Academic Excellence, Academic Success, Motivated for Success and Dedication to Research, to name a few. Guests, included students, UOW staff and the wider Aboriginal community. Guests were entertained with acoustic sets by Dane Kennedy, DJ Melly Mel and the hilarious comedy of Kevin Kropinyeri.
Over 130 people attended the event with some fantastic feedback and votes of thanks extended to the WIC Team. Congratulations to all our Student Success Award recipients on their achievements.
