Woolyungah Indigenous Centre (WIC) has had another successful year through the Indigenous Admissions Program.
The IAP is an assessment and interview process that offers an alternative pathway for Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander people over the age of seventeen to seek entry into UOW’s undergraduate programs.
Each year there are three intakes to apply through IAP Indigenous Admissions Program click the link to find out more.
This year, in total there were sixty-three successful applicants who received early entry offers and were accepted into their chosen degree.
Jada Seaton, pictured below, is a student from Lighting Ridge NSW, who completed her IAP assessment and has received an early entry in Bachelor of Social Work for 2024. Jada and her teacher travelled to Wollongong in early December to have a look around UOW, meet the team at WIC and explore Wollongong, which Jada is excited to call her new home.
Congratulations to all of the successful applicants. The staff at WIC are looking forward to seeing and supporting you all on campus next year.
