Woolyungah Indigenous Centre (WIC) has been actively attending various career expos to provide information about future pathways into university, particularly through the Indigenous Admissions Program (IAP).
Student ambassadors and Future Student and Engagement Officers from WIC have attended the Bangawarra careers expo in Kiama and the KARI expo at Liverpool.
At these expos, WIC has shared information about the IAP and other pathways into university with over two hundred students.
WIC will also be attending more career expos in the coming weeks, including the Opportunity Hub Careers Expo in Campbelltown and the Illawarra Schools Careers Expo at Illawarra Sports Stadium on the 9 and 10 May.
Additionally, there will be Parent & Student Info evenings that will provide an opportunity for current Year 11 and 12 students and their parents to access important information in applying to study at UOW.
