The 5th UOW Indigenous Student Success Awards Night was held at Collegians Wollongong on Friday 17 November and was a great celebration of success.
This years Student Success Awards night was all about fun, success and celebration. The event featured the presentation of 25 awards in a range of categories acknowledging student’s Academic Achievement, Academic Success, High Achiever and Dedication to Research, to name a few.
Guests included students, UOW staff and the wider Aboriginal community and were entertained with acoustic sets by Dane Kennedy, DJ Melly Mel and the hilarious comedy of Andy Saunders.
Over 130 people attended the event with some fantastic feedback and votes of thanks extended to the WIC Team. Congratulations to all our student success award recipients on their achievements.
