Many students say one of the best parts of the university experience is living in a residence. Rarely will you have the chance to live in a community that has people from so many walks of life and countries. At UOW Student Residences you will benefit from an environment committed to providing high academic achievement, involvement, development and fun.

All residences feature student development and peer mentor programs, social, sporting and cultural events, and 24/7 student wellbeing care. Utilities, furniture, laundry and limited car parking are available at each residence.

Applications for 2025 - waitlist

We are experiencing high demand for UOW student accommodation in 2025 and are at capacity.

2025 Applications will now be placed on a waitlist and offers will only be made when rooms become available. We will communicate directly with applicants on the waitlist.

We strongly recommend those on the waitlist start to make enquiries about alternate accommodation; please see our live off campus page. The UOW Student Housing Support Officer is available to help students navigate the private rental market and can be contacted at housing-services@uow.edu.au for assistance.

Please note, you cannot receive an accommodation offer until you have received your UOW offer of study or Confirmation of Enrolment (for international students).

If you are studying at UOW under the Study Abroad and Exchange program, and need accommodation, contact the Office of Global Student Mobility for advice at study-overseas@uow.edu.au.
