Welcome to UOW’s online application form. Applying to study at UOW is quick, easy and secure. How you apply will depend on your student type:
If you're planning on coming to University after completing your HSC, or the International Baccalaureate (IB), you can apply through the Universities Admissions Centre, (UAC).
If you’re a non-school leaver (i.e. completed Year 12 before 2023 and/or completed a TAFE qualification or equivalent), you can apply directly to UOW.
Before you apply, please check the requirements, intakes, and closing dates for your chosen degree on the undergraduate and postgraduate coursework Course Finders.
For international students interested in studying at UOW, we strongly encourage you to speak to a UOW representative about eligibility, application process, course interests and other questions you may have.
If you are based outside Australia and wish to apply for a course at UOW, you will need to engage the services of a UOW international representative/agent as you cannot apply directly. For your closest agent, please see our agent list.
International students who are currently studying in an Australian secondary school may choose to apply through the Universities Admissions Centre.
PhD, Professional Doctorate, Master of Philosophy, Bachelor of Research and Master of Research applicants can apply direct to UOW.

If you are an International student you should check UOWs general English Language requirements. Note that you will also need to understand the English language requirements for your student VISA.
All applicants for a Research Scholarship must submit two Referee's Reports (Online, to be completed by the referees).
