On 18 August, Dr Suresh Nanwani, Professor in Practice, Durham University delivered an online lecture on International Financial Institutions and Economic Development.  Dr Nanwani explained the framework employed by international financial institutions to design, implement and supervise projects and minimise the risks of corruption during the implementation of projects. Dr Nanwani also discussed career opportunities in international development with students. The lecture was sponsored by the TLCP, introduced by Associate Professor Markus Wagner (Director) and moderated by Dr Gabriel Garcia.
