In this seminar series, we will present ten examples of career paths with professionals with a tertiary degree in physics, medical physics, or radiation physics, at different stages of their careers.

Bailey Thompson, ANSTO, alumni of the School of Physics, Wollongong University.
Bio
Bailey Thompson graduated from UOW in 2020 with a Bachelor of Medical and Radiation Physics (Honours) and currently works as a radio pharmaceutical production scientist at ANSTO (Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation). In this role, Bailey works in a small team producing radionuclide Lu-177 for nuclear medicine procedures throughout Australia and New Zealand. Whilst working at ANSTO, Bailey is also completing his PhD in nuclear medicine physics with UOW.
