In this presentation we will compare the popular packages SPSS, STATA, R (RStudio), Python and SAS. We will also talk about Jamovi the free easy to use interface to R which is similar to SPSS. We will discuss the pros and cons of each of these packages and how you can access them. We will talk about the best options for your research and for teaching.
This presentation will be given by Professor Marijka Batterham, Brad Wakefield and Professor Alberto Nettel-Aguirre Aguirre from the Statistical Consulting Centre and the Centre for Health and Social Analytics in the National Institute for Applied Statistics Research Australia as part of the UOW Data and Decision Science Initative.
