A Day in the Life of a Financial Planner

UniSuper has designed a boardroom experience for University of Wollongong finance students which is designed to:

• broaden your knowledge of in-house career paths accessible to financial planning graduates
• increase your knowledge of superannuation
• experience what it means to be an in-house financial planner practitioner within a super fund

This exclusive program comprises five modules split into two sessions and presented by senior members of UniSuper’s Advice team. The workshop will feature presentations on:

Session 1 (open to all students)

• 9.30 am – 10.30 am
• A typical day in the life of an Advisor at UniSuper
• Financial Advice Career Paths
• Q&A session
• Session 1 registration

Session 2 (open to Financial Planning majors in second and third year, max 25 students)

• 10.50am – 12.00am
• Strategy Workshop
• Session 2 registration

Greg has been providing financial planning advice since 2006 and joined UniSuper in 2016. Greg also contributes to the ongoing development and education of financial advisers by drafting and submitting articles on a regular basis for Kaplan Professional, the preeminent content and education provider within the financial services industry.

Boris Tesanovic

Boris joined UniSuper in 2023 and has over 14 years’ experience in financial advice. He’s passionate about working closely with clients to create the best possible financial outcomes. Boris believes in the value of great retirement advice, and draws from his varied experience to build strong connections with his clients.

Ashlee Bunyan

Financial Adviser, Review Service

Ashlee joined UniSuper in 2015 and draws on her in-depth financial planning experience to educate our members. Ashlee has completed her Masters of Financial Planning and is passionate about educating members of all ages and life stages. She takes particular pride in working with women to help close the superannuation gender gap.

Ben Moerman

Super Consultant

Ben provides general information about superannuation, answer questions about UniSuper products and services, or help with your paperwork. Having spent quite a few years as a planner, Ben now splits his time as a general advice consultant and firefighter.
