EY Audit and Assurance: More than Just Numbers

Assurance at EY is split into a variety of subservice lines, the largest of which are Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) and External Audit.

FAAS is a service line designed to assist and aid clients in understanding financial and non-financial aspects of their business and operations. FAAS supports CFOs, controllers, audit committees and government departments in addressing key business problems and complexities by providing innovative support and solutions that inspire confidence.

External Audit examines the financial information of any entity, whether profit oriented or not, no matter its legal structure. To express an opinion, and deliver financial statements to a business key stakeholders including both the public and board of directors.

Both sub-service lines cater to a variety of large and small private and public companies and also the Australia Government, which means you will work on a diverse portfolio of clients and industries, working as part of Assurance at EY. These opportunities are open to students studying accountancy, business law, economics, finance, financial planning, and international business.
