The Graduate Research School recently held a 2-day HDR Induction event for all incoming HDR candidates, for Spring 2023.

The Graduate Research School invites all students enrolled in Higher Degree Research during 2023 to attend a 2-day HDR Induction. This induction has been designed to enhance your research experience by giving you the tools you need to succeed in your first year.
The two-day event will be facilitated by the Graduate Research School (GRS) and involves a range of sessions that will set you up for your first year and ensure you have the best experience at UOW. Topics include ethics, respectful relationships and safety at UOW, research integrity, reference management software systems and more. You will also hear from the Dean of Graduate Research, Heads of Postgraduate Studies, other HDR candidates and UOW HDR support services.
Morning tea and lunch will be provided, and you will have the option to attend a social event with your peers. You can also join a tour of our beautiful campus to discover key buildings and some of our favourite cafés and food outlets.
