R is a widely used free statistical programming language. This workshop provides an introduction to R and its use through RStudio. This online workshop covers data manipulation, visualisation and analysis and is aimed at staff and postgraduate students who have previously completed an introductory statistics subject and are interested in learning.

The fully online course includes data manipulation, importing data, defining variables, computing new variables, saving data and output, visualisation, inference/modelling, proportions, crosstabulations, t tests, ANOVA, correlation, and linear regression.
Please be aware that this workshop teaches computing, not statistics.
The workshop will be split over two days and conducted online via Zoom by Brad Wakefield and Professor Marijka Batterham from the Statistical Consulting Centre NIASRA.
The cost of this workshop is $110 or $100 when paid via internal transfer.
