Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) is an autoimmune condition of the gastrointestinal tract which affects one in 250 Australians. IBD has substantial impact on the microbiome and on dietary intake, with most people modifying their diet following diagnosis in an attempt to improve quality of life.
