The School of Engineering at UOW Malaysia, Glenmarie campus, is planning a significant cleanup campaign in collaboration with SW Corp Sdn Bhd and nearby industries to celebrate World Cleanup Day.
This initiative aims to involve students, staff, and industry partners in improving the local environment, fostering community engagement, promoting responsible waste management, and enhancing collaboration between the public and private sectors for a cleaner, more sustainable Glenmarie. Cleanup day activities include engaging volunteers in cleaning public spaces and collecting waste from nearby industries. After the cleanup, there will be a waste audit, and partnerships with recycling facilities will ensure proper disposal and recycling of collected waste materials. This initiative reflects a commitment to environmental stewardship and community involvement.
