Carbon Literacy Program: Live session

You will be empowered to take individual actions to reduce your carbon footprints and help you have conversations that promote carbon dioxide reduction initiatives.
Enrol in UOW’s Carbon Literacy Program (TRNG043_22) via Moodle.
The program consists of:
- 1 x 4 hour self-paced online course (compulsory activity PRIOR TO THE LIVE SESSION); and
- 1 x 3.5 hour in-person live session on the 14th October.
The Carbon Literacy Program was designed and developed originally by Nottingham University and modified to the Australian context by the University of Queensland. When you complete the Carbon Literacy short course, you become eligible for official certification by the UK-based Carbon Literacy Trust.
What you’ll learn
On successful completion of this program, you will be able to:
- demonstrate an understanding of the impact of climate change on sustainability.
- develop skills, knowledge, and experience to determine pathways to a carbon-free world.
- take appropriate individual actions to reduce carbon footprints.
- engage in conversations that promote CO2-reduction initiatives.
