Intro2Python Workshop

We are delighted to open registrations for the second iteration of our Intro2Python Workshop. Supported by Molecular Horizons and the Data and Decision Science Initiative, this workshop is suitable for researchers of any career stage looking to enhance their data analysis through python programming.

Those with no experience in coding, or with experience in other languages looking to diversify, are all welcome. A balance of theory and hands-on practice sessions will cover coding fundamentals, python syntax, data wrangling, and visualisation — leaving you with foundational skills you can apply to your own research projects. Attendees will also have the option to work with instructors to design their first custom analysis, and will be welcomed to the UOW Hacky Hours coding community to support long-term implementation of their new-found skills.
