This workshop will help you pitch your writing for publication.
During the session, under guidance, candidates will be invited to:
- Unpack research paper abstracts and identify their composite elements
- Identify the broader implications and possible impacts of your research project
- Develop a short description of the scope and content of your research
- Use these tools to start to develop an abstract for a research paper, a thesis chapter pitch and/or a book outline
Candidates will learn:
- How to identify the implications of their research
- How to summarise their research so that it is clear, informative and persuasive
- How to start developing an abstract, a chapter pitch and/or a book outline
