The cause

The International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, observed annually on 25 November, kicks off 16 days of activism and awareness to combat gender-based violence. In solidarity with this vital cause, the WoW Network invites you to a morning tea on 28 November, where we'll also be supporting Share the Dignity’s “It’s in the Bag” drive.

Share the Dignity plays a crucial role in assisting those affected by violence, particularly domestic violence. Their mission is clear: no woman should have to worry about her period when fleeing violence.

Date & Time

28 November, drop by anytime between 9:00 and 10:30 am

Location

Outside Hemingway, Wollongong Campus

Donate to the cause

The WoW Network will be providing morning tea, and in return, we encourage you to bring new, sealed, hygiene products (see this list for recommended items) and/or gently used handbags. All donations will go directly to Share the Dignity collection points at Bunnings.

Every contribution, big or small, can make a meaningful difference. Let’s come together and support this essential cause.
