Campus explodes with colour and creativity for Live Art Week
Local artists and students come together for annual live art event on campus.
UOW was buzzing with colourful chalk murals, yarn-bombed bikes and henna works of art for Live Art Week last week (18-20 August).
Local painters, sculptors and graphic artists and UOW students came together to create interactive masterpieces.
Event organiser Kayla Berry said the annual event, now in its second year, engaged many students on campus.
“It made people look at campus in a different way. There was street art on windows and 3D chalk masterpieces on stairwells. We had a lot of creative works that were out of the ordinary.”
“It was great to see campus light up like this.”
