Top talent search at UOW Graduate Careers Expo 2016

Leading employers from around Australia will bring their national search for high-calibre graduates to the University of Wollongong (UOW) Graduate Careers Expo tomorrow (Tuesday 15 March).

The Expo, hosted by UOW Careers Central will give about 1,500 students and recent graduates an opportunity to meet future employers in the same location.

More than 30 exhibitors are expected to attend the Expo, with the majority of these organisations actively recruiting final year students for their 2017 graduate programs.

The Careers Expo also offers a range of opportunities for students at earlier stages of their degree.

Many organisations offer vacation employment, internship opportunities, work experience, scholarships, co-op and other programs that provide students the chance to gain valuable work experience with leading employers.

The Careers Expo will highlight the range of rewarding career opportunities that are available in the public and private sectors of the labour market across a variety of industries.

Employers who attend the Careers Expo will have a valuable opportunity to speak directly with UOW students and target high-performing future graduates from all disciplines.

Students who intend to go to the expo are encouraged to plan ahead and be ready to speak with employers.

Careers Central will be running a resumé review booth on the day to help students polish their resumé and are encouraging students to dress professionally if they want to take advantage of the free LinkedIn photo booth, sponsored by CPA.

High-profile organisations attending the event include Defence Force Recruiting, EY, CPA Australia, KPMG, Woolworths and Accenture.
