Employers search for high-calibre UOW graduates

Annual careers expo brings organisations, students together

Top employers from around Australia will bring their national search for high-calibre graduates to the University of Wollongong (UOW) Graduate Careers Expo today (1 March 2018).

Approximately 1500 students and recent graduates will have the opportunity to meet future employers at the annual Graduate Careers Expo, hosted by UOW Careers Central.

More than 45 exhibitors are expected to attend the expo, with the majority of these organisations actively recruiting final year students for their 2019 graduate programs.

Many organisations offer graduate and vacation employment, internship opportunities, scholarships and other programs that provide students the chance to gain valuable work experience with leading employers.

The careers expo will highlight the range of rewarding career opportunities that are available in both the public and private sectors of the labour market across a variety of industries.

Employers who attend the careers expo have a valuable opportunity to speak directly with UOW students and target high-performing future graduates from all disciplines.

Careers Central will be running a resume review booth on the day to help students polish their resume.

Students will be able to take advantage of the free LinkedIn photo booth.

High-profile organisations attending the event include Telstra, Mars, Defence Force Recruiting, EY, KPMG, Australian Public Service Commission and Transport for NSW.
