Dr Rachel Loney-Howes is available for interviews about Harvey Weinstein being convicted of sexual assault and rape. Dr Loney-Howes is the co-editor of a new book #MeToo and the Politics of Social ChangeShe is a Lecturer in criminology who specialises in researching gender-based violence.

 

CHILDHOOD OBESITY IN AUSTRALIA

Dr Alfredo Paloyo can speak about childhood obesity in Australia in light of recent research being published in The Lancet that discussed the health and future of children worldwide. Dr Paloyo recently co-authored a paper on the intergenerational transmission of obesity in Australia and says the persistence of obesity across generations is stronger among low-socioeconomic status households in Australia.

Dr Theresa Larkin explains why burns don’t bleed in an article for The Conversation. Dr Larkin is a physiology researcher and teaches anatomy and physiology.
