UOW Law Students' Society Committee & First Year Mentoring Program

The UOWLSS Committee has been announced for 2020 and is excited to put on some incredible events, competitions and publications this year!  Our students enjoy the practical and contextual approach to legal education, offered by the UOW Law School, and look forward to opportunities that forge closer connections with the broader legal profession.

All first year PODs have been assigned mentors to assist in adjusting into law-life at UOW. The First Year Mentoring Program will be running in weeks two, four and six. Mentoring sessions will be covering issues such as study tips, time management skills and general university information. This is an excellent way for first years to get some hot tips from upper-year students that have walked in their shoes.
