Message to students - 22 September, 2021
Dear students, I wanted to begin where I left off last time: on the topic of kindness. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, kindness is hugely underrated. Being kind to others gives us great purpose. Being generous with our time and listening to others (if you have the capacity) is absolutely the right thing to do.
The art of saying yes
Susie Alderman always approached her time at university by saying yes to as many opportunities as possible, whether it was work experience, volunteering or travel. This optimistic, adventurous spirit has guided her well as she settles into her new home and job in the Top End.
