UOW is offering a Domestic PhD scholarship to work with the team on the: Australian Research Council (ARC) Discovery Project [DP210100164] ‘Investigating professional lives in the digital evolution of work”.
Project team: Professor Shirley Agostinho (UOW), Professor Lori Lockyer (QUT), Dr Kellie Buckley-Walker (UOW), Professor Sarojni Choy (Griffith University), Professor Sue Bennett (UOW) and Professor Allison Littlejohn (University College London).
Your Doctor of Philosophy project would investigate how professionals learn as they work in increasingly digitalised contexts. Your PhD principal supervisor will be Professor Shirley Agostinho, School of Education, Faculty of the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities, UOW.

Scholarship amount
Successful candidates will receive a tax-free stipend of $34,000 for the duration of 3.5 years indexed annually.

Eligibility requirements
Completed a Bachelor’s degree in the field of education, social sciences, or a related discipline AND have a First Class Honours and/or a Masters by Research OR be regarded by UOW as having an equivalent level of attainment; and
- Experience in conducting qualitative research,
- Experience in quantitative research is desirable,
- The ability to take initiative, be pro-active, and constructively respond to change,
- Demonstrated collegiality and ability to work within a collaborative team environment.
