Through strategic initiatives and collaboration with industry, the Pro Vice-Chancellor will drive engagement, foster innovation and facilitate professional development. Dr Paul Di Pietro leads UOW's Business Engagement and Outreach Network, its Research Infrastructure Advisory Group, and coordinates its Defence Research activities.

UOW's business accelerator and incubator iAccelerate and the Innovation and Commercial Research Unit reports to the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Industry and Engagement).
