IPRI PhD Candidate Sulokshana Marks attended the 34th Australasian Colloid and Surface Science Student Conference (ACSSSC) last week and was named a poster prize winner.
Awarded for her poster titled "Magnetoelectric Polymer Composites Functionality in Liquids”, Sulokshana received Outstanding Presentation honours alongside Xiaotian Wei from RMIT and Patrick Williams from UniSA.
“ACSSSC was a great platform for me to share my research work, new ideas and hear about a wide range of new research areas,” said Sulokshana.
“It was an inspiring place to learn how other students overcome challenges in their respective research areas. Not only did I get to share my PhD work, but I also got some great feedback from the delegates.”
The conference took place in Melbourne between February 1-3 at RMIT University’s City Campus, whilst being hosted by multiple Melbourne Universities.
ACSSSC aims to provide postgraduates in the field of colloid and surface science an opportunity to present their work and exchange ideas with fellow students and researchers as well as to provide further networking opportunities.
Congratulations, Sulokshana!
