Abstract submissions
The organising committee invite abstract submissions for inclusion in the Symposium program.
Submission guidelines:
- Only one abstract submission will be considered per presenting author, and the presenting author is responsible for ensuring that all authors listed on the abstract have been notified of the submission.
- We encourage you to send an informative abstract featuring a summary of the work's substance, including its background, purpose, methodology, results and conclusions. Based on these details, the selection panel will consider all abstracts received by the deadline to ensure that the submission is relevant to the Symposium program.
- Abstract selection notifications will be sent to the presenting author by email in advance of the Symposium. Please notify the organising committee via email proteostasis-symposium@uow.edu.au if you wish to withdraw your abstract from consideration at any stage.
- Abstracts are limited to a maximum of 250 words, and should not contain graphics.
- All abstracts must be submitted via the online portal. If you wish to copy text from a text editor, please paste without formatting and thoroughly review your content at the summary stage before submitting.
- Abstracts may be submitted for consideration as oral and/or poster presentations, however, oral presentations not selected for the main program will only be considered as a poster presentation if both options are selected. Please note - poster presentations are only available to those who will attend in person.
- In order to be considered for an oral presentation, submissions must be received by 19th August 2022. Poster submissions will be accepted until 17th October 2022.
