As a UOW student, you are entitled to a student identification (ID) card when you commence your studies.
Student ID cards
When will you need it?
Your student ID card can be used:
- to borrow resources from the UOW library and access printing, scanning and copying services
- as proof of identity during supervised final exams or while on placements
- to identify yourself as a UOW student when accessing services and personal information
- to confirm eligibility for student Opal cards while travelling on NSW Transport
New cards
If you are currently enrolled and have not received a student ID card, remember to get one the next time you’re on campus.
For Wollongong Campus students, ID cards are available at AskUOW on the Ground Floor of Building 17.
For students at other campuses, you can get an ID card from your local campus office.
Lost cards
If you have lost or damaged your ID card, you can purchase a replacement from either:
- Wollongong Campus: AskUOW on the Ground Floor of building 17
- Other Campuses: Your local campus office
Current costs for replacement cards are available on the Administration Fees and Charges page.
