Semester internship opportunities with funding
- Gain work experience in the field of your choice through a 12-week international virtual internship, offered through three of UOW’s Third Party Partners.
- All of these programs are FULLY FUNDED* through Australian Government funding, so your internship placement (normally costing between $1500 and $5000) is completely FREE*!
- Internships can be part time, meaning you can complete while also studying. Academic credit may also be available for these internships, please consult with your UOW faculty for further information. Please note you must be receiving academic credit for your program in order to receive an NCP grant.
CRCC Asia Virtual Internship Program: Complete a 12 –week virtual internship in the field of your choice at an international company in Asia. Placements are available in the following countries: China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Republic of (South Korea), Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam
In addition to the internship, the virtual internship program includes weekly Google hangouts discussions, bi-weekly business webinars, an internship coach, and access to language courses and the CareerBridge internship curriculum modules.
We have several grants available to cover the cost of this program, offered through the Australian Government’s New Colombo Plan.
Dates: Internships begin every two weeks on a rolling basis. Students should apply at least 8 weeks prior to planned commencement of the internship.

CISaustralia Virtual Internship Program in China, Hong Kong, Japan, USA, or South Africa:
Complete a 12-week virtual internship in the field of your choice at a company in China, Hong Kong, Japan, the USA, or South Africa. There are grants available for internships in China, Japan or Hong Kong through the Australian Government’s New Colombo Plan , to cover the cost of the placement.
In addition to the internship, also included in the programs are cultural workshops, weekly newsletters, a preparation guide and session, an orientation, and a final supervisor evaluation.
Dates: Rolling. Students must apply 4-8 weeks prior to planned commencement of internship.

Semester study opportunities
