Wollongong campus

UOW English conversation groups are run by senior students in partnership with Illawarra Friends of International Students (IFIS) and are a great way to make friends and practice your English in a warm and welcoming environment.  

When: Every Tuesday, 4 - 6 pm and Friday, 10 - 12 pm 
Where: Student Success Hub, Ground Floor, Building 19, Wollongong campus

Cooking and connection classes are run by senior students in partnership with Illawarra Friends of International Students (IFIS). Cooking classes help you to transition to living independently in Australia and are a great way to make friends. 

Spring session dates:

Welcome to Wollongong is a an event held by the University of Wollongong and Wollongong City Council to welcome you to studying and living in Wollongong.

The next Welcome to Wollongong will be held on Thursday 22 August 2024 at Wollongong Town Hall.
