What will I do?

This interactive course is designed to enhance cultural capability across UOW and build greater awareness of the vast history and cultural heritage of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Core Cultural Learning contains 10 modules of approximately one hour each.

Each module contains a variety of videos and quality resources that provide a foundation for understanding of traditional knowledges, cultural expression and experiences of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians.

This intercultural experience provides students from all backgrounds to learn the true history of Australia through the lens of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

The modules provide the students with a deeper understanding on how to respect and care for Country through Indigenous ways of knowing and being, resulting in a sense of belonging to people, place and space.
