Careers & Employability (formerly Careers Central) runs a series of employability workshops to support you to work on your resume & job applications, network with employers and get targeted career advice.

Each workshop runs for 1 hour and focuses on a specific career development topic.


How do I benefit?

Through attending these workshops, you will learn key skills to help you prepare for your career

You can register for upcoming workshops through CareerHub.


Minimum requirements for UOWx recognition

To receive UOWx Recognition, you must complete the following:

  • An "engaged student" will need to attend a minimum of 2 careers employability workshops over a calendar year
  • A "highly engaged" student will need to attend 4 or more careers employability workshops over a calendar year
