Community Volunteering Project Member

Program overview

How is this program run?

This program is running face-to-face.

What will I do?

As a member of the community volunteering project you will be involved in facilitating a community based project, in partnership with a community organisation that will put into practise your leadership and project management skills.

How will I benefit?

As a community volunteering project member you will demonstrate networking and relationship building skills by partnering with a community organisation to deliver an event or project within a designated timeframe. Working within a small team you will have the chance to identify and improve your leadership ship skills and help to see a major project through from planning stage to implementation. Involvement in the community volunteering project is intended to increase your employability through training workshops and mentorship whilst also allowing you to make a meaningful contribution to the local community.
