What will I do?
Build up UOWx hours by attending events like Lunar New Year, Holi Festival, Open Day and create content for social media! You will work with the social media team to contribute and curate content that showcases student experiences at the University of Wollongong. Content will be showcased through digital media platforms such as Facebook, TikTok, Instagram & digital publishing for the purpose of increasing online engagement with current students, future students, and alumni.
Content can include but is not limited to Instagram story takeovers, Instagram reel and TikTok video development and written articles.

- Skill development in communication, teamwork and leadership skills.

Are there any special requirements for this role?
This opportunity is available to all current students, however you must have a smartphone with internet access and a familiarity with social media apps.
Is training provided?
An introductory training session is provided, along with social media and digital marketing workshops and training sessions throughout the year.
Minimum requirements for UOWx recognition
You must complete the following:
- An "engaged" student will need to complete 20 hours in a calendar year
- A "highly engaged" student will need to complete 35 hours in a calendar year
