Activity overview
How is this program run?
This program is running face-to-face.
What will I do?
UOW students from across the Wollongong campus will be placed into interdisciplinary teams working with each other and industry professionals on innovative solutions to global challenges. Local companies will present each team with a challenge they are currently experiencing, and your team will come up with innovate ways to solve this challenge. This challenge will be aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The program culminates in your team pitching your final idea to the company.
How will I benefit?
In the Innovation for Global Goals program you will develop the ability to:
- Apply an interconnected systems approach to tackling societal, biosphere and economic global challenges
- Collaborate with University students from across UOW
- Workshop ideas with industry professionals and pitch ideas to experts
- Reflect on, assess and self-regulate own learning capabilities and performance
