How is this program run?

This program is running both face-to-face and online.


What will I do?

UOW Pulse runs events on campus, wellness programs, clubs and Volunteering. Pulse Volunteers have the opportunity to assist at almost every Pulse event. From Yoga and Tree planting to UniBar gigs and Sports comps. There is a volunteering opportunity for everyone.

As a Pulse Volunteer, you have the opportunity to create a vibrant campus life for your peers. Assist with gigs, parties, wellness events, tours, sport, workshops, sustainability on campus and Community Volunteering Project.

How do I apply?

Interested students should apply through the Pulse website.

Once you have submitted your application you will be contacted by your Student Experience Coordinator regarding training and how to get started.


Are there any special requirements for this role?

No special requirements.


Minimum requirements for UOWx recognition

To receive UOWx recognition, you must complete the following:

  • An "engaged" student will need to complete a minimum 20 hours in a calendar year
  • A "highly engaged" student will need to complete 30 hours in a calendar year
