What will I do?
Residential Ambassadors are critical contributors to the residential community, creating vibrant, resilient and connected communities by providing guidance, support and assistance to its residents in safe, respectful and socially inclusive ways.
The Residential Ambassador is a voluntary leadership role undertaken by those students living within residences. The main purpose of the Residential Ambassador is to act as a catalyst for positive social engagement by building positive relationships within their residence, creating engaged, connected and resilient communities.

How do I apply?
Positions are advertised on the UOW accommodation website each year anytime from August.
Are there any special requirements for this role?
Ability to meet the knowledge, skills and experience as defined within the Residential Ambassador Scholarship Agreement (PDF).
Minimum requirements for UOWx recognition
On average, Residential Ambassadors will be required to work approximately 8 hours per week, consisting of both allocated and incidental tasks, varying in frequency and type throughout the year.
Training is typically scheduled across 2 weeks in late January, with short training and personal development sessions conducted throughout the remainder of the year.
