What will I do?
The Science Interprofessional Education Day is an annual event where students from a range of disciplines and faculties actively engage in diverse teams to explore and problem solve solutions to some of the major problems facing the world. Student Partners work with the academic team to plan and develop the day in the months leading up to the event, and facilitate the event on the day.
How do I benefit?
As a Student Partner, you will develop skills in the areas of:
- Communication
- Teamwork
- Planning

A call out for Expressions of Interest for these role(s) will be distributed via subject Moodle sites and/or directed email.
Are there special requirements for this role?
For this role, we are seeking highly motivated and strong performing students enrolled in courses offered within the Schools of Chemistry and Molecular Bioscience and Earth, Atmospheric and Life Sciences, who have completed a minimum of 6 months of study at UOW.
Minimum requirements for UOWx recognition
To receive UOWx Recognition, you must complete the following:
- An "engaged" student will need to complete a minimum 15 hours in a calendar year
- A "highly engaged" student will need to complete 20 hours in a calendar year
